Job Description

QA Agile Test Lead 

Role: QA opening - Agile Test Lead and Automation

Type: Contract to hire position

Location: Birmingham, AL

Industry: Healthcare Industry

Client: Confidential

Rate: Corp to Corp during the contract term and then converts to Annual Base Salary Range.

 

This will be a long term contract role and then converts to perm.

This opening is to join the client s QA team and work with one of their most exciting teams by engineering quality into our customer facing Internet Apps as a QA lead and tester. This is a CONTRACT role.

 

Needs to available to convert to a full time employee after the contract term.

Skills:

  • Agile Testing Experience
  • Web Applications primarily but some mobile
  • Test Leadership Experience (more than just a tester consulting with the team on setting up Quality procedures, documenting processes, selling approaches, etc)
  • Ability to work with more than one team. This person will potentially float across 3 Agile teams supplementing existing QA resources.
  • Automation skills:
  • Using Automation that is already set up and tracking results
  • Helping to maintain Automation
  • Building new Automation
  • HP UFT and similar Automation tools
  • Selenium
  • Alertsite
  • Performance Center/Jmeter experience is a bonus
  • Personality/Team Culture fit

 

The ideal candidate will be capable of focusing on manual Agile testing (particularly regression and new functionality) with one release, and then helping to build or maintain Automation if necessary on the next. Potentially even doing both at the same time for different teams. They must be capable of both, but IF we have to choose a weaker side it could be the Automation side but they must still have some skills there.
