Job Description

Our core business capabilities include Command, Control, Communications and Computer (C4) Systems Integration, Systems Engineering, Joint Interoperability and Missile Defense, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system support, and Program and Management support among several others.

We are looking for a Capture Manager to join our Business Development team to provide a full range of business development support activities.

Under minimal supervision the Capture Manager will direct and manage pursuits simultaneously, developing mature solutions to include teaming, and price to win strategies for compelling and winning proposals.  The position requires support of business development activities to include all aspects of proposal development, management, and production, including coordinating multiple team members, collecting, and managing content, writing new content as needed, proofreading, and editing content, enforcing timelines, and managing the delivery process as specified. This position reports to the Director of Business Development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effective management and leadership of capture teams

  • Research and analyze upcoming business opportunities

  • Gather, assess, and validate customer requirements

  • Negotiate teaming agreements

  • Collaborate with technical and subject matter experts to translate technical information into proposal submissions

  • Support all capture activities as needed

  • Maintain proposal schedules, compliance, data calls, etc.

  • Monitor FBO, GovWin, EXPRESS, OASIS, SETAC, TEAMS, websites daily

  • Opportunity research, historical data, PWS comparisons, Step Briefings

  • Update BD pipeline (Customer Relationship Management and Microsoft SharePoint)

  • Distribute capability matrices for completion and compilation

  • Research incumbency, pricing (beta.sam.gov), funding, and historical data for potential opportunities

  • Distribute, manage, and compile customer surveys

  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • DoD proposal development experience (minimum 3-5 years)

  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to form/maintain positive relationships/connections within DoD community.

  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
