Cisco Unified Communications Engineer
Chester, VA/6 Months
Extensive experience (+4 years), preferably within an Enterprise Data Center Operations.
4+ of Cisco Unified communications engineering experience installing, maintaining, configuring, and troubleshooting VoIP equipment including Cisco gateway routers, call managers, Unity servers, etc.
4+ years of experience troubleshooting and resolving network/VoIP anomalies on a 24x7, mission critical operational network.
In depth understanding of VoIP protocol set and system interaction.
Must have experience with design and testing of prototype VoIP configurations.
4+ years of Network Engineering experience
Functional knowledge of Windows Server operating and virtualization technologies.
Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.
Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Strong Preference given to those with experience:
Cisco certifications in Voice/VoIP
Experience or certification in ITIL.
Demonstrated experience driving innovation and process improvement in a 24/7 operation.
Previous experience working in a commercial outsourcing business or managing an outsourced data center operation with multiple customers.
