A Client Project Senior Lead in the Client Services function is responsible for managing key projects for the duration of the project lifecycle related to technology driven client change activities across DTCC Solutions products. The team is responsible for ensuring that technology driven client change programs and projects are planned, managed, and governed in a consistent and disciplined manner, with a focus on high quality execution and client experience. The position requires an experienced professional with the right mix of relevant experience and skills, an ability to flex between the strategic and the tactical, outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and a high level of energy and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented, client solutions driven environment.

Your Primary Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for independently acting as the Project Manager on moderately complex client migration projects for the duration of the project life cycle from initiation through to closure in order to meet the project's objectives and stakeholders' expectations.

  • Support the Program Manager and Senior Project Manager by performing various aspects of the project management lifecycle for more complex client migration projects.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to plan and develop the project plan, scope, deliverables, required resources, and timing for assigned projects.

  • Proactively manage the risk, issue and change resolution process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed; identify the 'path to green.

  • Follow the project governance structure; processes and procedures for maintaining proactive project management oversight and decision-making support throughout the entire project life cycle.

  • Be accountable for the overall delivery of the project against the established business goals and objectives through effective motivation and management of key delivery stakeholders.

  • Capture stakeholder needs and expectations, gain and maintain stakeholder support, and mitigate conflict.

  • Adhere to project management methodologies, standards and tools as defined by Client Services.
  • \t
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, opportunities, threats, and dependencies on own projects and partner with the Program Manager and Senior Project Manager to manage them across the client services portfolio of initiatives.

  • Produce and maintain project reports for stakeholders, including Senior Management and Board Members, to provide transparency, assurance and facilitate decision-making.

  • Lead project team meetings ensuring that project obstacles, issues and risks are surfaced, documented, and addressed.

  • Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.

Talents Needed For Success:

  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience
  • \t
  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience

Additional Qualifications:
    \t
  • Minimum of 6 years of related experience; direct Project Management experience preferred
  • \t
  • University degree preferred
  • \t
  • Experience in Financial Services Industry preferred
  • \t
  • Prince2, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or related Project Management certification preferred
