Clojure Development Engineer
Our client is seeking a Clojure Development Engineer to join their team in Portland, OR. They are looking for engineers who can bring in fresh ideas from different areas, like distributed computing, scalability and storage, security, data analytics & visualization, UI design, and mobile. They need engineers to be versatile, demonstrate leadership qualities, and be eager to tackle new problems across the full-stack as we venture to make healthcare more accessible to all.
As a Software Development Engineer, you will be involved in requirements gathering, design and development of new features for the platform, handle scalability, and performance challenges. You will participate in a high-paced agile environment with deep focus on best software practices, cutting edge technologies, innovation, and code quality.
Clojure Development Engineer Qualifications
1+ year experience on Clojure or any functional programming (Scala, Elixir etc.).
2+ years of experience on strong development life cycle.
Clojure programming skills.
Strong experience with these technologies is preferred: Python, Java or Clojure, Scala, Docker, AWS (DynamoDB, S3, RedShift), database design, Git, Jenkins, Cucumber.
Competency in data structures, algorithms, and software design.
Experience in working with microservices and standard APIs.
