Position Objective

Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for an Cloud IT Services Consultant!

The Cloud IT Services Consultant (CITSC) role is market-based sales and business development position. An CITSC may cover a single large market or multiple smaller markets within the region. The primary responsibilities of the role are to help grow All Covered Cloud (IaaS) Infrastructure as a Service sales across your territory by selling:

  • Recurring professional, managed and cloud service solutions or All Covered Care (ACC).
  • These sales are consultative to our prospects and customers and collaborative internally.
  • CITSC s will work closely with the local Konica Minolta Business Solutions sales team and their customers to cross-sell our services for the mutual benefit of each division.
  • Additionally, CITSC s develop their territories through business development initiatives, marketing initiatives and networking activities within the region.
Essential Job Functions
  • Directly drive All Covered Cloud Services sales in assigned area of responsibility to grow market share with; recurring monthly services and project services.
  • Apply an in-depth understanding of All Covered Cloud services, programs, and sales methodology to address complex and strategic All Covered Cloud and project opportunities.
  • Maintain an in depth understanding of Cloud technology trends and challenges and how to sell Cloud to the Medium Sized and Enterprise Accounts
  • Work with Solution Architects, Strategic Account Managers, engineering project resources, sales and management resources to achieve and exceed quota.
  • Work with Konica Minolta branch offices, as assigned, to cross-sell Cloud Services to their client and prospect base.
  • Provide thorough and accurate insight into the financial results and forecast of sales of strategic and complex ACC sales, project and procurement services as related to Cloud Services.
  • With support from marketing & channel strategy resources, present special programs to direct prospects, Konica Minolta prospects and All Covered Cloud clients.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of how All Covered s Cloud solutions and services create value for customers.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of Cloud technology services and trends.
  • Maintain consistent interaction & communication with team members and clients.
  • Update Cloud National Sales Manager, Region Vice President s, Managing Director s, and Area Sales Managers in respective regions
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
  • Inspect, update and ensure regional ITSC s maintain appropriate cloud pipeline.
  • Review Konica Minolta opportunities for AC cloud ensure quality, validity and timeframe.
  • Review large Konica Minolta synergy opportunities with Konica Minolta territory leadership
  • Local market training every Quarter
    • All Covered & Konica Minolta
  • Host data center tours
  • Prospect B2B opportunities w/application partners
    • Targets to be reviewed and inspected weekly by Cloud National Sales Manager (CNSM)
    • Host and Attend local/territory events (KM/AC)
    • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
    • Ability to coordinate multiple sales activities and manage multiple client solutions.
    • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
    • Strong negotiating skills

    • Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications
      • 3-5 years of experience in Technology services sales - Cloud Services strongly preferred
      • Sales experience, with a record of meeting and exceeding quota.
      • Passionate about cloud technology and has a cloud first mentality
      • Strong communication, presentation, and listening skills.
      • Ability to effectively convey complicated technical solutions in an easy to understand way, while emphasizing positive, future-oriented perspectives.
      • Technical aptitude, with the ability to appropriately apply technical concepts to individual customer needs.
      • Ability to influence decisions and drive strategic processes with clients.
      • Strong planning, organization and time management skills; self-starter.
      • High level of professionalism and integrity; good judgment.
