What You'll Do
  • You will be responsible for guiding global teams on the technical design and implementation of Analytical platforms in AWS ====P using cloud native big data technology stack.
  • Migrate on-perm Hadoop systems to Cloud native solutions globally.
  • Manage large volumes of data on Hadoop Big Data platforms and provide access using analytical tools (R, Hive, Hue, Presto, Tableau, Spotfire) to internal users and customers.
  • Partner closely with Data and Analytics users to understand business requirements as well as with Technical leaders of fulfillment platforms to influence the design and implementation for insights deployment.
  • Partner with Product Owners, the infrastructure organization, and vendors to define product road-map, tool/product selection, and provide infrastructure design.


Qualifications
  • You have attained your Bachelor's degree and have over 5 years of experience working in Technology, with over 3 years building, designing and maintaining enterprise class applications
  • Demonstrated experience working with very large data sets and deep knowledge of building programs that use Hadoop platforms
  • You have experience with core Java development
  • You have over 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud computing technologies in AWS or GCP.
  • You have experience with Cloud Networking, Cloud Security, Cloud IAM role, Cloud based Big data environment, Serverless Architecture
  • You have 5+ years of hands-on experience in big data technologies
  • You possess a deep understanding of Hadoop Architecture.
  • You possess hands-on experience in analytical tools like Spotfire, Tableau, or Looker for Big Data
  • Experience with authentication, authorization, protocols/standards like OIDC, SAML, OAuth2 , LDAP, Kerberos, SSO
  • Experience in working with Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), Encryption at Rest.
  • Good understanding of modern technologies on Cloud Native Architecture


Extra Points for any of the Following
  • A solid grasp of regulations and security standards governing access to data
  • Sound understanding of Insights delivery systems for batch and online
  • A real passion for and the ability to learn new technologies.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (Not Associate) or GCP certified Professional Cloud Architect would be ideal.
