Power IT is looking for a Azure Cloud Systems Administrator for a contract to Hire Position in Topeka, KS.

Hourly Wage - $65 to $85/Hour - Depending on Experience

Contract to Hire - US work authorization (Required – We are not able to sponsor employees for this position due to federally mandated background check requirements)
4 – 5 years of Microsoft Azure - migrating to Azure and building new Azure Cloud Systems
4 – 5 years of Windows Server Administration - installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft Windows Server systems
2 – 4 Years of Network Security - network security standards and procedures as they pertain to cloud connectivity
As an Azure Cloud Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing new services, migrating services from on-prem to cloud, as well as helping to further develop cloud design and implementation best practices. You will also be responsible for assisting in managing cloud network, security, and manage the monitoring of the logging/alerting of systems. Responsible for the coordination of roadmap releases, ensuring that proper planning, tracking, and communication is in place for upcoming changes. With their Azure teammates, provides technical consultation for enterprise and application project teams and translates business/customer requirements into systems or process designs. Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot cloud resources deployed in Azure.
This position will help in establishing and documenting best practices, ensuring that proper security practices are implemented, followed, and share the support of such as needed.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or other related degree program is highly preferred. Direct experience may be substituted for the educational requirements.
4-5 years’ experience managing and troubleshooting Azure AD.
2+ years’ experience managing and migrating on-prem workloads to Azure in a multi-region configuration, Azure PaaS services, administrating Windows Server and Active Directory, and developing DevOps practices with process automation.
Clear understanding of networking and related resources.
Experience with best practices of securing servers and networking.
Preferred - Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate and/or experience with Azure Stack Hub.
Strong Experience and expertise with Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service platform, including planning, configuration, optimization, and deployment. Datacenter migration experience to migrate on-premise to Azure, migrate new and maintain existing azure cloud infrastructure. Responsible for providing support and hands on during a cloud migration and day to day azure operations.
