Job Description

The Configuration Management Analyst (Mid-Level) 3 role will be located in McLean, VA. Position Description:

* Supports Configuration Management and Release Management activities for AIS software releases.

* Works with Operations, Maintenance, Security and Certification & Accreditation within DHS cloud environment.

* Supports continuous monitoring tasks to include ISVM & patch management; receiving ISVM's, patches and processing them through established patch management SOP for implementation into secure production environment and writing after action reviews to the government.

* Understanding of FISMA, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-53 security controls, FIPS-199, and develop technical security artifacts to support a Moderate categorized system.

* Work closely with DHS stakeholders to ensure documents are created and submitted for DHS validation.

* The ability to write technical prose, assist in documentation for feedback to the government on implemented patches into secure production environment as well as help with technical, engineering and admin guides, SOP's, CONOP's, techniques, tactics and procedures (TTP's).


Basic Qualifications- To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

* Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and a minimum of 5 years related technical experience required.

* Active Top Secret Security Clearance is required. In addition, selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation for continued employment.

* Experience with Configuration Management and/or Release Management functions is required.

* Understanding of prescribed skill sets identified in position responsibilities.

* Familiarity with the Certification and Accreditation Process and NIST Special Publications 800 series (800-53 etc.). Preferred Qualifications- Candidates with these preferred skills will be given preferential consideration:

* Experience working with corporate and government level security systems and implementation procedures.

* ISVM & Patch management.

* Solid understanding of Federal security regulations, policies, guidelines and procedures (NIST, OMB, Cloud policy).

* Ability to work independently.
