Position Description:

Client is looking for a Customer Relationship Specialist. The position entails working closely with the Business Relationship Management team as they develop business cases, technology roadmaps, and ensure service delivery excellence to customer portfolios. This position will report directly to the Manager of the Business Relationship Management team, which is part of the Business Strategic Services Division within the Department of Information Technology.


  • Assist in the creation and management of technology business cases and related discovery and budget activities.
  • Participate in and facilitate customer meetings with Business Relationship Managers, customer departments, and management as requested, including regular scheduled and initiative-specific meetings.
  • Support the Business Relationship Managers in their service escalation process as it relates to service delivery for senior leaders within client departments.
  • Generate reports, dashboards, and analytics in support of service delivery escalations that are being championed by the Business Relationship Consultants.
  • Assist the Business Relationship Management Manager in the creation and maintenance of a new SharePoint online site and related reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Document executive status to provide frequent highly visible executive and stakeholder status.
  • Conduct research to support the technology roadmaps created and managed by the Business Relationship Consultants/Managers.
  • Perform other support activities for the Business Relationship Management team.


  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: Capable of translating complex technical issues into clear and concise executive level statuses, writing instructional documentation, training users in complex topics, making presentations to an internal audience, and interacting positively with senior management.
  • Highly proficient in MSS Suite (Word, Excel, Power-Point, Visio, and Project).
  • Excellent organizational, team building, and communication skills.
  • Proven track record in generating insight from data trends, analysis, and process optimization recommendations.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to perform to a high level of work quality expectations.
  • Independent problem problem-solving skills.
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize highly visible requests to tight deadline requirements
  • Experience collecting and documenting requirements as well as authoring business cases in support of technology selections is a plus.
  • Ability to structure SharePoint site including adding/deleting documentation, creating lists and libraries, and general user capabilities is a plus.

Experience creating and maintaining dashboards and performance scorecards in Teams, SharePoint and Power BI is a plus.
