Leidos is looking to staff a position that will be located onsite at a Government facility located in Huntsville, AL and serves primarily to manage the Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages in coordination with the Government lab managers. The position involves maintaining the documentation, assuring RMF compliance, completion of System Security Plans, and coordinating the activities of the rest of the Cybersecurity staff in meeting the overall security posture across the enclaves within the MDA ARC.
A successful candidate must be able to manage an on-going program risk management posture in accordance with the Government RMF control measures. Candidate will interact on a regular basis with both Government and company managers, and coordinate activity with a larger staff of cyber-security personnel to include the Cyber Lead Engineer to ensure the consistent and verifiable implementation of the agreed to controls to achieve the desired ATO.
Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with multiple systems and functioning interchangeably within a team of engineers and support a cross functional approach to resolving the myriad of issues confronting applications and systems operating within a highly complex and interconnected networked environment. A successful candidate must demonstrate a history of taking ownership of a segment of the solution and pursuing the implementation across multiple technical areas. Candidate must have experience with the application of DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to operating Systems, Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) monitoring and application, system vulnerability scanning and mitigation of findings, and remediation of findings. Candidate much have an awareness of eMASS, and be able to function at the level of an Information System Security Officer (ISSO). Candidate requires a current active DOD Secret clearance. Knowledge of a DOD laboratory environment is necessary and candidates should be able to demonstrate at least 10 years of increasing responsibility within the DOD environment. Candidates are required to demonstrate at least 10 years of experience working with both Linux and Windows based systems. Bachelor's degree in a technical field, will consider years of experience in lieu of degree. Candidate must possess a current CompTIA Security+ certification.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess an active Top Secret clearance, possess a CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification, specific experience within the Huntsville laboratories located at Redstone Arsenal, and who possess specific experience with the Missile Defense Agency.External Referral Bonus:
