The Cybersecurity Project Manager will be responsible for simultaneously executing numerous security-related projects which are varied and complex in nature.

  • Managing numerous complex projects with various priorities and stakeholders
  • Develop project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and milestones involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring security technical feasibility
  • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the on-time execution of projects within meetings for project status, stakeholder update, implementation/migration cut-over, issue resolution, etc.
  • Ensure that all Security projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation while developing a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation such as project plan
  • Deliver regular project status updates to key internal and client project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks including creating strategy for risk mitigation and contingency planning
  • Efficiently identifies and solves project issues
  • Report and escalate project risks, actions, issues, and decisions to management as needed
  • Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills Qualifications

Work Experience

  • 5 - 10 years in a project management role
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field, Master's degree preferred
  • Project management certification (PMP) through PMI or similar (PRINCE2)
  • Cyber and IT/OT security knowledge
  • Understanding of Cyber and IT& OT cybersecurity standards and best practices
  • Understanding of Cyber and IT& OT cybersecurity risks, threats, and prevention measures
  • Must have significant and extensive work experience as a project manager
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity concepts and issues
  • Must have experience with NIST Risk Management Framework & NIST-SP-800-82 & IEC 62443 and understanding of requirements related to cyber security
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • must be comfortable with public speaking and developing relationships across all levels of the enterprise
  • Budgeting and auditing experience strongly desired
  • Effective leadership and delegation abilities
  • Outstanding time management skills
  • should be able to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with managing a team and dealing with personnel issues a plus
  • Effective leadership and delegation abilities
  • Basic knowledge of ICS (Grid) Basic knowledge of ICS (Grid)
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of NERC CIP
