The DIG Developer functions on a team that collaborates with other offices internal and external to IT, conducts whse conversions to support realignment of business districts within FEI's legacy system, moves product and demand from one location to another within a logon to support location closures, converts legacy system data to new ERPs, migrates ERP and MDM data, maps Trilogie data to ODS Staging and provides maintenance support of the RTI (Real Time Interface) system. Areas of responsibility include taking ownership of assigned events, various types of research, development work through stages of SDLC, documenting events and continuous improvement. Critical activities include managing an assigned event from beginning to end, responsible for updating of data in production, ensuring development coincides with current standards, collaborating with developers to address issues or concerns, finding solutions for branch issues, if applicable, or ensuring follow-up. For EDA (External Data Access) and RTI, coordinating and working with Quality Assurance and Business Analyst groups to ensure expected outcome of user stories. Many of the assigned tasks must happen on weekends and after normal business hours and there is occasional travel for acquisitions.

QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Related or Business related field an equivalent amount of professional experience are encouraged to applyProgramming experience with Basic programming, SQL, Visual BasicBasic understanding of ERP platforms and general business functions - legacy system and new systems, as applicableExperience working with relational databases, including, but not limited to Oracle, SQL ServerKnowledgeable in ExcelExperience within the SDLC components and working in an Agile environmentExperience with communicating with associates at all levels of the company with emotional intelligenceProven ability to communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences in written and non-written formats.
