Anchor Worldwide, a global integrated creative/media agency, is hiring a Social Media Data Analyst to join our Soho-based New York City office.

Responsibilities

  • Configure social monitors and build bespoke reporting

  • Synthesize insights from social data that will inform key social, content and business decisions.

  • Vet technology vendors and configure analytics platforms

  • Proactively identify trends and opportunities

  • Establish and maintain industry and brand social media benchmarks

  • Assist with defining social media KPIs and establish proprietary metrics

  • Create dashboards and build narrative around data analysis through storytelling and visualization

  • Assist with execution and analysis of research such as consumer insight surveys and content, audience and competitor analysis

  • Lead the optimization strategy for content creation and social media marketing optimization

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a social media data analyst

  • Bachelor s Degree in quant-related field - STEM, business, marketing

  • Experience analyzing data from social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and ad platforms e.g. Double Click, The Trade Desk

  • Demonstrable data mining, statistical & predictive analysis experience

  • Demonstrable proficiency with analytics platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Google Analytics

  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel

  • Proficiency with SQL

Nice To Haves, But Not Deal Breakers

  • Proficiency with scripting and statistical languages such as Python, Matlab, R and SAS

  • Proficiency with fundamental web languages - HTML, CSS, Javascript
