The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and translating data used in making efficient and effective business decisions for the department.
The anticipated hiring salary range is $62,348.00 to $79,612.00 per year, depending upon qualifications and experience.

Researches information, compiles and analyzes data. Prepares flow and organizational charts, workload statistics, and statistical data displays.
Assists in budget preparation and review/analysis of expenditures and requisitions for purchases.
Prepares estimates of production, service, personnel, revenue, contracts, and cost increases and decreases.
Prepares proposals, contracts, and reports.
Prepares complex reports that communicate county/group/department priorities, policies, and procedures.
Makes oral presentations of findings to other members of the department, committees, or outside groups.
Composes written memos, letters, board letters, reports, manuals, and other documents.
May represent the department/division head at meetings.
Researches, interprets, analyzes, and writes reports and summaries on a variety of policy directives, procedures, legislation, ordinances, regulations, and laws.
Advises a department or division manager on the efficacy of policy and procedure changes.
Reviews and analyzes impact of proposed and existing legislation, ordinances, and regulations.
Assists in the establishment of processes to identify and prioritize potential projects.
Plans and defines the parameters of identified projects
Formulates criteria, processes, and procedures for evaluating the impacts of projects, plans, and programs for service delivery that may cross division jurisdictions or have significant impact on department wide operations.
Conducts special studies and special projects that may include, but are not limited to, needs assessments, survey analyses, grant writing, personnel, organizational, training and program standard development.
Analyzes workflow patterns, equipment, and material needs, and prepares recommendations to enhance operational and fiscal efficiency.
Leads continuous improvement evaluation efforts and directs resources to uncover and correct complex problems. Researches and develops recommendations to improve outcomes.
Assist in election process as necessary
May be involved in interviewing, hiring, and training of analysts and personnel
May supervise work of analysts and other personnel
Considerable knowledge of statistical analysis. Ability to analyze, interpret, and report on analytical data in an understandable and articulate manner.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Creative Suite.
Ability to drive projects/process improvements and lead and motivate project teams.
Ability to assist in all phases of the election process. Analyze operational problems and recommend effective resolutions.
Ability to recommend new and modified work procedures, methods and processes to improve efficiencies within the Elections division.
Respect for Others
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
At least 4 years of experience in data analysis and project management
A combination of education and experience may be considered
