Our client, an extremely successful growing international financial services firm, is looking for a Data Analytics Associate to perform detailed analytics work in support of the Compliance Analytics group's goals and objectives.
You will collect, aggregate, analyze and visualize customer, product and transactional data. You will develop reports to support the design, implementation and enhancement of BSA/AML tools and systems including AML transaction monitoring and sanctions screening systems. You will apply data from stakeholders to translate qualitative risk factors into responsive risk models that leverage new technology.
Candidates must have a college degree ideally in Math, Statistics, Computer Science or Analytics and 4-7 years of specialized experience in analytics or a related field. Must have experience with SQL and some of the following: R, Python, PowerBi and Tableau. Knowledge of compliance specifically BSA/AML would be a major plus.
This is a new position with a new and expanding department within the bank. You will have the opportunity to apply economic, quantitative and statistical skills while developing knowledge of new analytical techniques and data sources that provide ongoing risk.
This is a remote position currently and for the foreseeable future. Eventually there may be the opportunity to work in the office.
