This company is in Orange County and is a leader in asset management that is focused on mortality-based financial products like reverse mortgages, life settlements, and other actuarial & longevity assets. They are looking for a Data Engineer to come in and work on their financial models that tracks the price of policies throughout their platform utilizing Python, Numpy, Pandas, and SQL.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Has developed software solutions utilizing Python in past experiences
  • Utilizes SQL database to query or insert/ update data in relational databases
  • Previous experience using Python's Pandas for data analysis
  • Experience building out ETLs
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience using Financial and risk models
  • Experience with Spark and PySpark
  • A background in software engineering is strongly desired
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
What You Will Be Doing

Daily Responsibilities
  • 60% Hands On
  • 40% Team Collaboration
