Senior Data Quality Analyst will be responsible for managing in-bound data utilized in index research, creation, determination and calculation. Analysts also monitor out-bound data distributed via Client channels including real-time, static, pricing and reference data. The Data Analyst team will develop and operate systems to ensure accuracy and validity of data from internal and external sources while also managing key data relationships. The work is in a technical environment focused on database management and reconciliation and requires knowledge of both financial datasets and technical handling, processing and storage of disparate datasets.

Client Global Indexes support financial product sponsors across a wide-spectrum of investable products and asset managers to measure risk and performance.
o Perform and develop a variety of business and data analyst functions to validate data used by Client Global Indexes for index research, design and calculation
o Run and resolve tests designed to find abnormalities within data to quickly refine both historic and recent data focused on financial products including prices, corporate actions, classifications, and many others
o Work with third party data vendors to maintain systematic data delivery into Client s control framework
o Uncover data product enhancement opportunities; prepare requirements and business cases
o Define requirements for overarching data management platform; work closely with technology teams to prioritize and implement solutions
o Create and maintain data product documentation (e.g. requirements, product specs, playbooks)
o Manage project timelines and facilitate the day-to-day operational aspects of the program
o Develop and maintain metrics to measure the data quality of our products
o BA/BS in Business, Finance, Math, Statistics, or Computer Science and 2 years of experience in a professional environment.
o Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills to dissect a problem in order to provide clear and concise explanations to clients/stakeholders.
o Prior technical and financial experience with goal of further developing financial markets knowledge
o Strong team-working skills for working with various internal stakeholders.
o Support business decision with ad hoc analysis as needed.
o Enjoy working in fast paced environment
o Proactively gains technical knowledge by educational workshops; reviewing publications, establishing personal networks, participating in technical societies.
o Experience with large datasets and database management through SQL, R, Python and other statistical software languages
