Data Science Program Manager

Be part of a company with a growing presence in the international market! We are looking for a Data Science Program Manager who will help manage research & development programs in the area of data science and machine learning. 

This individual will foster a collaborative environment by working with the leadership and technical teams to coordinate cost estimating and reporting. The role also involves engaging with stakeholders and maintaining business management procedures. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with client sub-contractors to ensure smooth integration and accomplishment of assigned tasks
  • Track program schedule and milestones, coordinate with the client Contracts and Finance teams, provide quality assurance on reports, and track program risks 
  • Bridge technical understanding and operational requirements of our customers 

 

Key Skills:

  • MS Degree in Electrical or Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Business field OR other related scientific or technical discipline with two or more years related professional experience
  • Experience in managing technical projects, developing tasks/sub-tasks, identifying & tracking program risk; building WBS, Gantt charts, and tracking POA&M
  • Active U.S. TS/SCI Clearance 
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the experience in engaging technical and operational areas 

 

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in a leadership role of a technical program for the Department of Defense or intelligence community 
  • Experience with software development best practices and tools
  • Understanding of large and complex data sets
  • Familiarity with machine learning or statistical modeling techniques
