  • Recommend and implement methods to retrieve and process a diverse set of data from several, disparate sources

  • Create structured data repositories to run algorithms that result in actionable recommendations using visualization dashboards, reports and other web-based tools

  • Using advanced models, data mining, machine learning and natural language processing tools, generate future trends, dependencies and relationships

  • Perform statistical analysis on large data sets

Join our amazing team and change the way we leverage data through innovative and robust solutions within traditional landscapes as well as emerging areas including Big Data, Internet of Things/Everything, cognitive analytics, and machine learning.

What experiences should this awesome Data Scientist have?

  • Working knowledge and experience in any of the following technologies:

    • BI & Visualization tools: SAP Business Objects, Cognos, OBIEE, Hyperion, TIBCO Spotfire, Microstrategy, Tableau, D3 or Qlik

    • DW/ETL Tools: Informatica, ODI, SAP Data Services, SAP BW/HANA, Datastage

    • EPM: Hyperion Essbase, Cognos Planning

    • EDM: Data Modeling, Erwin, DBA

    • MDM Informatica

    • Data Tools: Hadoop, including HDFS, MapReduce, and YARN, ZoomData

  • Experience in understanding and gathering business requirements directly with the customer

  • Experience in documenting resulting requirements into design specifications

  • Ability to work remotely, independently with minimum supervision

  • Excellent written skillscapable of developing and articulating creative technical/operational concepts and approaches

  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills at all levels of engagement

  • Experience working with multiple clients and data-centric projects simultaneously

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Experience working in and creating data architectures

Awesome Data Scientist Must Have:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

  • 6 years of relevant experience in data mining, machine learning, statistics, and/or information retrieval

  • 10 years of overall experience in systems or software engineering, integration, development work

Bonus Points:

  • Previous experience supporting business development, capture, and proposal activities

  • Certifications: CISSP, MCSE, ITIL, PMP

  • Security:

  • US Citizenship required

  • Active Secret or TS/SCIclearance strongly preferred
