Job Description

Link Technologies is currently seeking a Data Scientist III for a client headquartered in Las Vegas, NV. This will be an onsite position, responsible for leveraging data to compile reports and inform decision-making across the business. As a Data Scientist III, you will be analyzing data for the purposes of predictive, financial, and operational analysis and modeling.




  • 4+ years of experience as a business analyst, data analyst, or similar
  • 4+ years of experience with SQL
  • 4+ years of experience with Python, R, SAS, or other analytical tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
  • Strong experience with Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes
  • Experience with regression analysis, operational analysis, financial analysis, and predictive analytics
  • Experience with machine learning for automation
  • Ability to detect anomalies
  • Experience developing business requirements and assisting with solutions testing
  • Experience with financial data and analysis to understand and communicate credit and profitability drivers
  • Experience with financial time series tracking reports and vintage analysis preferred
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field preferred



  • Analyzing large volumes of data to understand trends or patterns that are emerging and potentially impacting business
  • Developing and deploying machine learning to automate and streamline data analysis efforts
  • Utilizing analytics programs and statistical methods to prepare data models and affect decision-making
  • Compiling data metrics, forecasts, and compiling reports to clearly and effectively communicate to senior leadership
  • Leveraging data to predict upcoming issues or other trends and preparing analytic solutions
  • Implementing large-scale data quality analysis and reporting
  • Implementing data quality rules and methods to reduce data quality errors
  • Pulling and utilizing data from data lakes, data warehouses, source systems, and business partners
  • Participate in project planning and project execution related to data analysis and business modeling
  • Responsible for data validation and accuracy of deliverables
