Grant Thornton is seeking an
Associate to join its Alexandria Information Technology practice area and take
an active role in engagement execution, project management and key business
development activities.

staff applies traditional and cutting-edge instructional system designing
approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Associate
will utilize various instructional system designing methodologies and models to
execute client projects.


  • Elicit requirements for ad-hoc data requests, extract data from
    the data warehouse using SQL, and deliver request via Excel spreadsheet.
  • Create, administer, and enhance OBIEE reports.
  • Update and maintain ETL scripts written in PL/SQL, which extract
    data from source systems and load the data warehouse.
  • Perform intensive data analysis based on customer requests.
  • Test ETL and reports of others for quality assurance, and
    migrating releases into testing and production environments.

  • Ability to obtain a public trust
  • SQL experience.
  • PL/SQL experience.
  • Oracle database is preferred.
  • Prior work in a data warehousing,
    business intelligence environment.
  • Strong data analysis and
    communication skills
  • Experience with Oracle Business
    Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) preferred.
  • BA/BS Degree from an accredited
    college or university in a related field.
  • U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United
    States indefinitely required.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Ability to work overtime required on occasion.
  • Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm
    ethics requirements.
  • Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE)
