Our Long-Term Services and Supports solution Carity provides an integrated platform for application and eligibility determinations across Medicaid waiver and incentive programs. Our Web Infrastructure for Treatment Services (WITS) solution tracks behavioral health services, allowing agencies and providers to securely administer and share client treatment information. Principal Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with analysts, developers and architects to capture meaningful data definitions, build data models, and document results throughout the project life cycles
  • Responsible for as-is data architecture analysis and to-be state implementation
  • Responsible for target data design including the OLTP design and OLAP design, source to target mappings, data migration, and metadata modeling
  • Functions as a liaison with external and/or internal clients
  • Analyzes clients' existing systems and business models
  • Understands software development lifecycle
  • Translates client requirements into highly specified project briefs
  • Identifies options for potential solutions and assesses them for both technical and business suitability
  • Coordinates with client to define problem, determine data availability, report requirements, and resolve system design problems


Required Skills/Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • 8-10 years of directly related computer systems analysis and/or programming experience.
  • Data migration, data ETL, DW set-up and life cycle.
  • 5 years' hands-on technical experience as Data Architect.
  • Strong Conceptual, Logical and Physical data modeling skills
  • Strong Rational, Dimensional and Object modeling experience and skills
  • Strong SQL and Data Analysis skills.
  • Strong Metadata management. Strong understanding of Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) basics as well as tools used.
  • Strong experience with multiple database formats (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
  • Strong understanding of database security principles
  • Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (process, methodologies and best practices) with a strong analytical/technical background within a multi-tier system.
  • Experience in Healthcare industry business practices and data.
  • Strong customer and business focus with presentation skills.

Preferable:
  • Experience with leading BI platform or tools, such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI, SAS etc, in addition to traditional SQL Server platform
  • Experience with Medicare/Medicaid data, and HIPAA
  • Experience with Java and JSP are plus
  • Experience with CMS IT support projects and CMS shared services are plus.
