Our client has an excellent opportunity available for a DL/CV Scientist to work on a 12-month + contract position, working 100% remote. Our client is a leader in its industry, offering stable long-term contracts, great company culture, and a healthy work-life balance. This scientist will be a key resource responsible for defining high-impact business problems, solving them in old/new ways, and executing/monitoring them throughout their lifecycle. This is all done using cutting-edge tech, they have massive amounts of LiDAR data collected from their network. They then design Deep Learning algorithms to find features of interest & track their changes over time.This is a full-time contract consulting opportunity, offering a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, plus 401(k) with matching, weekly payment, (PTO), and more. Responsibilities of the DL/CV Scientist:
- Design, develop, and implement novel computer vision algorithms for unique use cases.
- Design and build novel/custom CNN architectures.
- Evaluate the accuracy and quality of the designed models as well as data sources.
- Stay up to date with the latest models and changes in technology.
- Design and develop production-ready code.
- Communicate results and implications to colleagues and business partners.
- Coordinate with application development teams to integrate developed models with existing applications.
"Natural Language Processing" (NLP) can be referred to as Deep Learning as well, but it is totally irrelevant for our purposes. We need Deep Learning in the context of *Image and Video* Processing/Analytics, not text or numerical data
