The iOS Release Management team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated lead quality engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills. You will work with the latest Apple products, ensuring that demo content can be delivered on time for new product launches in order to showcase new hardware and software features. In this role, test efforts will target testing of cloud-based content deliver systems and client software for embedded platforms, partnering with multiple cross-functional engineering and business teams to ensure product quality.


Key Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of QA/QE experience
Experienced in building QA test plans and reporting
Excellent problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for debugging, analysis, and automation
Experienced in Bash and Python/Ruby. Swift is a plus
Experience with troubleshooting iOS and embedded devices
Familiarity with Scripting Languages


Description:
The QA effort includes maintaining test plans across engineering and business organizations, hands-on functional testing, bug reporting/regression testing, and development and execution of automated reporting for test plan completion.

The successful candidate should have an aptitude for learning new technologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive complex and challenging projects to conclusion. Collaboration with engineering teams and an ability to thrive under pressure are key skills required to succeed in this role.

Job Duties include:
Work with client and server engineering teams to build comprehensive test plans for cloud-based demo content delivery system
Support development of new demo-content features through functional testing, identify opportunities to leverage automation
Work with Program Management team to develop testing schedules
Provide status reports for the team, cross-functional partners, and management
Analyze automated test results, conduct defect isolation in conjunction with client and server engineering teams


Education:
BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent.
