Our Team is growing! We have a new opportunity at our Client site in Hanover, Maryland for a TS/SCI-cleared Desktop Engineer
who will be instrumental with the following:
Assisting lead Desktop Engineers with packaging and deploying updates via SCCM within a DoD environment, encompassing building and maintaining NIPR/SIPR images and corresponding task order sequences within SCCM, and patching / updating systems that utilize McAfee drive encryption or BitLocker. While creating and modifying group policy, as directed, our selected candidate will resolve Remedy tickets escalated to Tier 2 from the Service Desk, as well as coordinating and collaborating with on-site Customer Support Representatives to ensure all customers are assisted in a timely, courteous, and professional manner. We develop service-oriented architecture (SOA) and other integration solutions to enable information sharing and management between business partners and disparate processes and systems, and we deliver technology enablement to support CIO services transformation.
Systems Engineering professionals focus on key client issues that impact the core business by maximizing operational value, driving down the cost of quality, and enhancing technology innovation. Our teams deliver a wide range of services, including application architecture design and optimization, application modernization, business process management and solution integration, custom application design and development, and large-scale technology delivery program efforts. How you'll grow
- Must be a self-driver and detail-oriented.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or other technical field, coupled with a minimum of at least 2-3 years as a Desktop Engineer in a DoD environment, preferably with at least 1 year of experience in a Systems or Server Admin role within a DoD environment.
- Experience patching with Tanium.
- Proven experience building and maintaining JWICS images, as well as experience mitigating Microsoft and third party vulnerabilities via SCCM.
- Experience managing BitLocker recovery keys, while also conducting server health checks/maintenance.
- Experience with virtual desktop configuration and management.
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell
