Role:  Desktop Engineer--Mid level---MSP Model

As a IT Service Desk Consultant, you provide both remote and onsite IT support by troubleshooting and fixing all technical difficulties you face. This is where your love and expertise for information technology and software comes into play. You maneuver your way around operating systems and servers, dispense your knowledge of software, firewalls, VPNs, wireless access points, and so much more!

You are responsible for desktop/server/network administration and developing processes to make our clients happy and their companies productive. Because you are able to think on your feet, you can quickly address and resolve incidents and requests. With your assistance, we are able to provide faster responses to meet client needs. You understand the importance of documentation and use your attention to detail to keep everything organized. You train and work with your teammates to share knowledge to improve outcomes. Every day you find yourself doing exactly what you love as a IT Service Desk Consultant!

This is a full-time position. Although business hours are Monday through Friday between 8am-5pm, some evening and weekend work is required. Additionally, you will be on-call approximately once every 4-8 weeks with on-call assignments lasting couple weeks


Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 2 years of relevant work experience with relevant industry certifications or the equivalent combination of education and experience
2+ years of Desktop Support experience
MCP Certification or willingness to obtain it
One of the following is a plus: A+, Network+, or Security+
Experience in Managed Services delivery environment
Experience with Kaseya, Connectwise, Datto, Labtech or similar MSP tools
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Administration
Experience with Microsoft Office 365
High degree of professionalism and integrity
Very strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines
Excellent interpersonal, facilitation, consensus building and conflict resolution skills
Strong analytical skills
Virtual Desktop Platforms/Environments (VMware, Azure, AWS, etc.)
Apple certifications a plus
VoIP experience plus
Network experience plus
Reliable transportation (we reimburse mileage)
Detail oriented – gets it right the first time
Able to lift and move 25 pounds repeatedly
