Job Description


Job Title: Desktop Technician in Orlando, FL Duration: Long Term

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Support all of the hardware and software used by the enterprise.
  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, video conferencing equipment and other equipment.
  • A solid understanding of PC hardware, software, mobile computing devices, peripheral equipment, and networking principles and functions.
  • Solid technical troubleshooting skills and a working knowledge of current technologies.
  • Experience supporting and troubleshooting network issue.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity and network printing issues.
  • Experience with image deployment via Ghost or Acronis.
  • Experience installing, upgrading and migrating Windows OS.
  • A+ Certification or any other Certification is highly preferred.

Minimum Qualification:

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science or closely related field and one year of customer service experience in a computer support environment.
  • Customer service experience in a computer support environment may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
  • Associate’s degree may be substituted for four-years of recent direct job experience in a medium to large-scale enterprise IT support environment.
