Development Operations Engineer

FlightGlobal is looking for Development Operations Engineers to work as a critical member on one of our product teams.
As a member of this team, you will serve in two capacities: helping to build deployment pipelines for a new cloud-native product based using best practices. You will also support and lead peers in modernizing the deployment pipeline of legacy systems.
Although this position requires working out of our office located in Alpharetta, Georgia, you will collaborate with colleagues in multiple global locations, primarily Portland, Oregon and London, UK.
Our ideal candidate has experience in most or all of the following:
collaborating with an interdisciplinary, agile team to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks
guiding technical peers to succeed
identifying and implementing best practices in collaboration with other DevOps engineers
creating reliable, Windows- and Linux-based systems, with monitoring, redundancy, HA, and DR capabilities
the .NET ecosystem, build tools, etc.
physical & virtual server hardware, OS platforms, tool selection (VMware, AWS, containers)
web servers, proxies, and SSL
applying CI/CD methodologies and revision control using associated tools (e.g. TeamCity/Jenkins, git, REST)
writing scripts to automate simple tasks (e.g. Python, PowerShell, etc.)
system health & performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and remediation, including visualization tools such as graphite, New Relic, Nagios/Icinga, datadog etc.
maintaining scalable, redundant, and replicated data systems including, but not limited to, Postgresql RDBMS, MS SQL Server, and various nosql and data caching platforms
automating system provisioning and configuration using tools such as Puppet in public and private cloud environments like VMWare and AWS
experience migrating deployments from Windows environments to Linux-based systems
Oracle Forms experience
Experience running Docker on Windows
Your background includes:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or a related technical field), engineering or equivalent work experience
