Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for an an experienced DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will support the Army Human Resources Command (HRC) located at Fort Knox, KY. The scope of this effort is to provide a select range of IT services for specific activities within HRC. The IT services encompass all activities necessary to provide secure enterprise-wide systems sustainment, management, enhancement, development and integration services for the life-cycle administration and deployment functions. DSA will assist the HRC in the goal of meeting the vision of the Army G6 of a secure, standard based environment.

The candidate should possess the following experience:
* Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps
* 5 plus years of Enterprise application development experience, and/or experience maintaining, supporting, and deploying to production systems
* Technical proficiency with proven process and quality control focused orientation
* Solid understanding of the various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
* Experience with using and configuring CI/CD pipeline toolsets (GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube)
* Experience with development tool sets (code repositories, build engines, deployment tools)
* Familiarity with containerization and/or container orchestration platforms (ex. Kubernetes)
* Experience with software development testing techniques, including integrating automated testing into a CI/CD pipeline
* Comfortable with Agile methodologies
* Ability to work independently and to respond quickly to change
* Strong critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills
* CompTIA Security+ Certification

Desired experience includes the following:
* RDBMS experience (SQL) like Postgres, GreenPlum, Oracle and others
* Experience with commercial cloud service providers (ex. Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services)
* Prior experience supporting the Army Human Resources Command in Ft. Knox, KY

Required Education and Certifications:
* Bachelors Degree plus 5 years experience (Associates or Technical School with 7 years experience)
* CompTIA Security+ Certification (or comparable IAT II level 8570 certification)

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD CLEARANCE ; this will be verified prior to interview. Therefore, can be considered for this position.
