Our client, one of the largest banks in the US with wealth management, investment banking, and international business, is seeking a DevOps Engineer.

Position Type: Contract
DevOps Engineer will be part of a team of engineers, supporting all devops functions like:
-Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery automation
-Build tools to automate repetitive tasks done by dev team
-Build tools to automatically generate access controls reports for the platform
-Build tools to monitor application and infrastructure health at all times
-Devops Engineer will work with multiple development teams to onboard applications to the enterprise SDM/horizon tools stack made up of JIRA/Jenkins/artifactory/ansible and other build/deploy automation tools.
-Will provide ongoing troubleshooting support that is both functional and technical.
-Will also help build custom tools to automate various repetitive tasks, and infrastructure monitoring.
-Hands on role; strong desire and ability to learn new tools and technologies.
-Ability to work with and mentor team members in the use of devops tools and technology.
-Excellent written and spoken communications skills required for clear, concise correspondence to end users.
-Mid-level technical experience required.
-Analytical and forward thinking a plus.
-Recent experience should be in a Developer role.
-Strong Java or Python needed, with very good unix skills.
-Familiarity with continuous integration and delivery tools is required, expertise in these tools will be nice to have.
-Must have a solid understanding of SDLC.
-Exposure/understanding of Bitbucket, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Ansible, JIRA.
-Experience in release/build engineering processes.
-Comfortable in windows and linux command line. Expertise in shell scripting.
-Strong expertise in either Python or Java.
-Able to communicate effectively both written and verbal.
-Able to support clients in a fast paced environment in critical situations.
-Able to meet all expected SLA s.
-Experience with supporting end users and providing assistance to users based on established processes.
