Please note that this is a 1 year contract position.
As a DevOps Lead, you will do the following:
Explain and evangelize DevOps to the broader account organization, especially those organizations that will benefit from DevOps and be active in it s processes
Provide vision and leadership to define the DevOps processes and technologies necessary to meet account business goals, including development tools and methodologies, package solutions, systems architecture, security techniques, and emerging technologies.
Collaborate with architectural, project management, development, testing, release management, operational and infrastructure teams
Establish enterprise governance policies for managing CI/CD, build and release management, and configuration management
Set performance expectations, track performance, and manage KPIs
Be passionate about learning new technologies and creating innovative solutions
DevOps Lead skills requirements include but are not limited to:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or equivalent technical experience
10+ years of Information Technology experience
Minimum of 5 years experience in implementing continuous integration/delivery solutions
Minimum of 5 years experience supporting platform and release automation, tool selection, and metrics tracking
Minimum of 5 years experience in DevOps, Configuration Management, Build & Release Management expertise
Minimum of 3 years experience in in System Administration: Linux/Unix and/or Windows.
Experience with collaboration and IDE tools like Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, Eclipse, Atlassian tools like JIRA, Confluence
Experience with source code management such as Git, TFS, Bitbucket
Experience with build tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Azure DevOps/TFS, Gradle, etc.
Experience with configuration management tools like JIRA, Bamboo, Puppet, and Chef
Experience working on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google, etc.
Strong analytic, issue resolution, and facilitation skills
Lead root cause analysis efforts, taking actions required for continuous improvement
Able to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
Able to prioritize and multi-task to manage expectations of multiple stakeholders
Able to deliver high quality and timely work products
Effectively adapts to rapid changes in project or data requirements, priorities, and changing directions
Strong written and verbal communication
Effective interpersonal and teamwork skills
Expertise with data and analytics tools is a plus
Experience with Data Governance tools
