Growing demand for this company's products has resulted in the following position being available:

This role is responsible for assisting in the development, troubleshooting and maintenance of environmental support/deployment tools for the installation, configuration of Client s products and services. This is a valuable role as these tools are used to support both internal staff and external customers. In addition, this position serves as a subject matter expert for customer environmental support areas and assists in the automation of tools, processes and procedures for this area; and performs mid-to-higher level technical support.

Development responsibilities include:
Developing applications/tools to automate deployment, configure, maintain, and monitor applications
Creating flow charts, process documents, known issues lists, and other documentation for code changes
Debugging/troubleshooting complex code to identity/report bugs in software

Technical Support for applications/related tools responsibilities include:
Assisting in creation, installation, configuration, testing, maintenance/troubleshooting/support for:
areas for all versions of Client s products/tools including updating binaries, web configuration files, installers, application pools in IIS, etc. at Client, customer sites and in the Microsoft Azure Cloud
product installers

Resolution of service requests -- Assist with requests that come into the environmental support area

Assist internal Help Desk staff with:
Guidance/training for Tier 1 level support
Authoring knowledge-based articles for common requests

Release Management responsibilities include:
Assist Project Management/Analysts in coordination/packaging/distribution of updates for Client s products and tools

Documentation responsibilities include creation/maintenance of:
Customer documentation (e.g. installation doc, technical support doc, customer specific site description documents, etc.)
Technical documentation
PowerShell scripts

Knowledge, skills/abilities, experience should Include a mix of the following:

Understanding of OOP development
SQL Server including tables, SQL scripts (version 2008 or higher)
Windows Server troubleshooting (version 2008 or higher)
REST API s
HTML & JavaScript w/ability to develop light GUIs, web services, application services, etc.
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle
