Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree

Minimum Years of Experience: 6 year(s)+

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in supporting DevSecOps/Agile implementations, transformations, and engineering efforts, including but not limited to: the following areas:

- Understanding complex architectures and application/technical dependencies

- The ability to coach and guide delivery teams in industry-standard engineering practices

- Understanding how developer's code, check-in code/manager into source control, perform manual and automated tests; performing vulnerability and performance tests; and , deploy code to production

- Implementing industry leading tools, practices and IT operations

- industry leading cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google)

Demonstrates the following abilities and/or has a proven record of success in the following areas:

- Strong executive presence, interpersonal, and relationship skills

- Thinking creatively and possessing problem solving skills / strong individual initiative;

- Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner (in written and verbal formats), including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts;

- Conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex data;

- Working in cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects and understanding personal and team roles;

- Contributing to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members;

- Seeking guidance, clarification and feedback proactively;

- Providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less-experienced staff;

Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success is familiar with one or more of the following:
  • Setting up DevSecOps "pipelines" for on premise, hybrid, and/or cloud-only environments
  • Setting up and running DevSecOps Centers of Excellence for mid to large size enterprises
  • Developing and/or supporting digital products and/or services
  • Understanding and using automation technologies and tools
  • Using continuous integration and continuous delivery-related tools
  • Understands coding fundamentals and knows at least two programming languages
  • Uses a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services
  • Familiar with and/or has used agile management tools like Jira and/or Rally
  • Assist cloud engineering in designing and incorporating DevOps tool sets into container (Docker, ECS, EKS), serverless (Lambda), or Virtual Machine (VMware, KVM) architectures
  • Lead with Jr. DevOps team members to automate logging, monitoring, approval workflows, or other tasks as needed
  • Evangelize internally and to the customer the value propositions of products built
  • Guide cloud engineering product roadmaps and adoption of cloud based technology
  • Influence development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results while also leading work of other technical staff.
  • Resolve highly complex problems using significant application of technical knowledge, conceptualizing, reasoning and interpretation.
