DIGITAL MARKETING EMAIL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Project Description:
Responsibilities:
  • Build and execute strategic digital marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) in partnership with Digital Marketing Specialists (DMSs), Marketing Operations Managers (MOMs) Digital Agencies of Record (DAORs) and Publishing team.
  • Provide cross-functional project management by collaborating with Marketing Operations Managers (MOMs) and DMSs as well as other stakeholders as needed to track and deliver critical marketing and operational projects on time.
  • Understand and follow the Client's standard operating model (or process) for the design, build and testing of campaigns in the SFMC platform with approved creative assets and in alignment with the deployment schedule.
  • Inform processes and best practices to support collaboration and communication for the development of emails
  • Create and design automations in SFMC to support dynamically-generated emails.
  • Create data extensions, automations, and journeys in SFMC to support the compliant and successful deployment of emails.
  • Partner with Multi-Channel Capability Lead to design, develop and maintain critical marketing metrics to enable data driven decisions.
  • Coordinate with Campaign and Data Management team for campaign instructions and customer data to support execution of email campaigns in SFMC.
  • Proactively identify process gaps and system(s) inefficiencies to optimize workflows.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing emails, campaigns, and journeys.
  • Provide recommendations on SFMC support team structure, onshore and offshore, to support day- to-day operations.
  • Manage technical aspects of SFMC necessary for the design and execution of email campaigns: coding emails, applying tagging, utilizing Amp script and applying data for personalization
  • Manage and perform quality assurance measures (QA) and/or testing of emails, journeys, automations, and data extensions.
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert on the development and deployment of email campaigns.
  • Maintain organization and structure for content, data extensions, and journeys within SFMC.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience in and understanding of email/customer marketing and CRM programs
  • Experience in a client-facing role developing and delivering email solutions within SFMC
  • Demonstrated familiarity with using SFMC Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio. Experience creating dynamic emails, journeys, automations and data extensions. AMP script, HTML, CSS experience preferred
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • Ability to assist in the design of technology solutions for new processes and new business practices
  • Ability to interact, communicate and collaborate with a team of stakeholders with varying levels of expertise in email marketing, campaign management, technology, and Salesforce
  • Strong knowledge and experience integrating business solutions with back-end systems
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between business and technical stakeholders, i.e. communicate technical information to business-focused/less-technical users and communicate business needs to technical resources
  • Ability to work independently, balancing multiple initiatives
