Digital Product Manager
Responsible for maintaining and guiding improvements to one of Heinemann’s largest digital applications, the Fountas and Pinnell Online Database Management System (ODMS). The ideal candidate will build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all levels and functions of the organization to effectively continue to seek project support and manage product improvement. The ideal candidate will become the ‘go to’ person for everything related to that product. There is the potential to manage one or more other digital products as well, as candidate becomes familiar with this and other Heinemann digital products and processes.
Product Maintenance - manage logging of bugs, vendor fixes, testing, and release.
Product Enhancements - identify improvements, get content validation approval, manage vendor build, test, and release.
Product Management– manage external vendors.
Marketing and Sales Support – act as liaison to marketing and sales for clear communications and presentations of product to customers.
Basic working knowledge / experience with:
Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Single Sign On (SSO)
Rostering (OneRosterand other rostering services)
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Minimum of 5 years in digital product build and maintenance
Knowledge and Skills
Might be in a stationary position for a considerable time (sitting and/or standing).
The person in this position needs to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
Must be able to collaborate with colleagues via face to face, conference calls, and online meetings.
