Our client is seeking a Director, Pricing Strategy.

Job Description:

-The Director of Pricing will develop and drive NAS business & pricing strategies to achieve sales growth, increase retention and improve client experience.  

-The position will be the NAS pricing contact, managing the scope, quality, risks, schedule, and resources of NAS pricing projects that support the company’s strategic plan and pricing strategy. 

-The position will act as a subject matter expert providing strategy and pricing leadership, guidance, management, training and working with multiple businesses providing insights for pricing analyses being performed. 


-The candidate must possess strong analytical skills, quality management, excellent organizational skills, leadership skills, and a knowledge of pricing strategies. 

-The candidate must work collaboratively with key pricing stakeholders in the multiple businesses establishing and delivering aligned business and pricing strategies and enforcing price integrity & realization that improves our client’s value proposition and achieves growth targets for the organization. 

-Excellent project management quantitative and modeling skills required; strong presentation and communication skills; highly organized and detail oriented; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; leader & influencer capable of providing leadership not only managing and support; defining pricing problems strategically, developing credible business cases, and communicating rationale to senior management.



Responsibilities Include: 

-Develop and drive NAS business & pricing strategies to achieve sales growth, increase retention and improve client experience 

-Oversee the scope, quality, risks, schedule, resources and implementation of projects that support the company’s strategic plan and pricing strategy

-Work cross-functionally as a key liaison with sales, finance, operations, and product management to establish pricing strategies and perform pricing projects 

-Provide strategic pricing and strategy leadership, guidance, insights and training.  

-Ensure consistency of company pricing practices. Support and facilitate training of associates to ensure successful pricing management 

-Support and make recommendations to the product owners in the development of new innovations, emerging products, and services in the creation of effective price monetization strategies 

-Manage all aspects of pricing operations, implementation & communication of pricing decisions (order entry, billing system, discount & promotion policy/monitor, and price book maintenance)

-Perform sophisticated quantitative analysis and translate data into actionable insights 

-Prepare pricing reporting, dashboards, and competitive pricing insights and present results and recommendations to a variety of audiences 



Experience, Education, and Required Skills:

-5 - 10 years of work experience with 2 - 4 years in a large strategic consulting or pricing-related discipline -  ideally with a B2B organization working with data analysis & pricing 

-Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred 

-Experience developing strategies: identifying and framing issues, developing hypotheses, conducting market research and analyses to test key hypotheses, and developing execution plans

-Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions and manage projects in a complex matrix environment 

-Superb ability to lead cross-functional employee teams

-Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment 

-Strong communication skills both written and oral. Ability to facilitate pricing meetings and drive discussions amongst cross functional teams 

-Strong quantitative and modeling skills; ability to run correlation and regression analysis; develop pricing / financial models and analyze trends 

-Expert proficiency in Excel (must be comfortable with large complex spreadsheets, developing macros; look ups, pivot tables, “if” statements), databases and PowerPoint 

-Strong attention to detail, data research, data manipulation and data mining skills 

-Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision 

-Very strong organizational and time management skills 

-Able to travel up to 30% (Alpharetta, GA /Roseland NJ) of the time depending on business needs
