POSITION TITLE: Regional Sales Director - Finance
REPORTS TO: Vice President , West & Finance Industry

BASIC JOB FUNCTION:

Responsible for and supervises the North American Finance Sales Team through department training and development, sales management, sales and coordination with other departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage the sales effort for the North American Sales Team and exceed quota
  • Maintain discipline on account coverage and territory development
  • Work with Sales Reps and Corporate staff to implement effective lead generation programs and discipline
  • Protect the existing revenue base with an objective of zero cancellations
  • To develop and administer a team sales plan that will insure customer satisfaction, assigned quota attainment, good reference accounts, and highly skilled and motivated staff
  • Strategize with Sales Reps on how to position Company products
  • Develop appropriate and reasonable pricing proposals and help Sales Rep close deals
  • Able to forecast and communicate intricate details to Senior Management on a timely basis
  • Assist and travel with new Sales Reps on customer visits and assist and travel with Sales Reps for any tough customer calls
  • Able to identify and meet the appropriate customer decision-makers
  • Stay on top of business opportunities, evaluate staff performance and help staff meet their career goals
  • Interview and hire new Sales Reps
  • Operation of the branch on a profitable basis to include cost control and budgets consistent with good business judgment
  • Ensure Sales reps keep their customer databases updated on a weekly basis

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Have successfully sold to Property Casualty mid-market insurers and Financial Institutions, including Credit Unions
  • Demonstrated understanding of how analytics enables digital and customer/member centric business models within the financial services industry
  • Proven track record in both expansion of existing customers and breaking into greenfield territories
  • Experience in both selling direct to financial services and through leveraging partners where applicable
  • Ability to identify alignment and business value of IBI solution to prospects business requirements and articulate a value proposition
  • Minimum of seven years of professional sales experience in related industry, including a minimum of three years supervising and managing staff and programs. Plus 2+ years technical knowledge of software packages
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills

  • Professional, Strong leadership skills, must be able to develop/implement marketing plans and be self-sufficient
  • BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Computer Sciences or related field, or equivalent education or experience
