POSITION DESCRIPTION


As the ALOM Director of IT Applications you will be responsible for the design, implementation and support of the internal and external operational business applications used by the company. We are looking for an IT management professional who has a successful background organizing teams and managing the development, testing and maintenance of multiple applications development programs in a multi-location environment. Experience developing and operating IT as a profit center a definite plus. To succeed, you must be bright and pick up complex situations fast. Other position requirement are:



  • BS or equivalent education

  • 5 years of experience designing and maintaining business applications in the supply chain or manufacturing industry

  • Expertise implementing and/or managing ERP, MRP, WMS, TMS, CRM, and SCM systems

  • Highly proficient in administering front and back end applications and database systems


Reports to: Chief Technology Officer


Performance Areas



  • Design and/or procure business applications to drive the company’s innovation, efficiency and competitive advantage

  • Hire, train, and supervise staff and/or consultants as needed

  • Manage the integration of internal systems as well as customer/vendor integration into ALOM applications

  • Work with the IT operations team to deploy applications to required users

  • Maintain license information and ensure that all applications are properly licensed

  • Manage and assist in database administration

  • Ensure all applications are validated and meet any regulatory and security requirements
