The purpose of this position is to provide support for critical business functions through the development, implementation, and maintenance of CLIENTS s content management systems. Plan for and perform enhancements and configuration changes, including upgrades to new versions. Provide assistance to customers in the usage of the systems, and coordinate external vendor support.
Manage the full implementation lifecycle and support for projects dealing with CLIENTS s content management systems.
Complete software configurations to meet desired functionality, or supervise internal or external resources completing the configuration.
Create project plans using documented methodology and maintain those plans throughout the project.
Provide input and advice regarding system capabilities and functions.
Provide functional and technical support to the users of the product.
Assist in documenting user business processes, work instructions, and training curriculums in support of the company's evolving use of its content management systems.
Research issues, provide recommendations, and escalate issues to the vendor as appropriate.
Develop requirements, vision/scope, and design specifications for enhancements to the systems.
Perform changes and enhancements to the configuration of the systems, in support of customer needs.
Develop and maintain test scripts, support for plug-ins, and interface development for In-house or COTS solutions integration.
Ensure functional and technical documentation is complete, current, and stored appropriately.
Serve as a subject matter expert on content management functionality.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a small team of software developers;
Contribute towards establishing and improving software development standards and procedures;
Perform technical evaluation of tools and products and contribute towards technology architecture decisions;
Work as part of Scrum Development Team and/or as Scrum Master; effectively participate in sprint planning, task estimates, task sequencing, task assignments, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Contribute to system, data and application architecture decisions; provide recommendations for product selection.
Perform other duties, as assigned.
Monitor and maintain the Documentum server. Resolve various technical issues. Analyze system performance and address bottlenecks and other potential problems.
Installed and configured DCTM Content Server
Experience with internal/public website integration
Upgrading the Documentum system from an older version to a newer version
proficiency with DCTM workflow processing and process engine
Configuring and scheduling DCTM jobs and methods
Responsible for developing Documentum solutions using xCP or custom development
