Join CSRA as a Web Developer supporting the Department of Homeland Security!
As a member of a small development team, you will coordinate with our client and technical lead to develop and maintain front-end aspects (CSS, etc., including versions for Mobile platforms) of Drupal-driven, public-facing government websites. We need a professional with a firm understanding of modern HTML paradigms who can:
Utilize familiarity with web development & content management tools to produce website packages (code, modules, themes, etc.), utilizing revision control software and managing a local development environment.
Ensure design compliance with Section 508 requirements.
Deliver front end elements to the team, coordinating to provide iterative improvements through drop to test environment.
Review implementation and conduct post-deployment release testing.
This position requires attainment of a Public Trust. Candidates who possess a current DHS Headquarters Entry on Duty with a minimum 6C Suitability determination will be preferably evaluated.
You must be
able to demonstrate experience with:
Extra consideration will be given to candidates who possess:
Top-tier CSS/SASS capabilities in conjunction with Drupal
Knowledge of Responsive Web Design & experience with grid frameworks such as Susy or Singularity and task runners such as Grunt or Gulp
Experience with Atlassian Products (Jira, Stash, Bamboo, Confluence)
A conversational level or better comprehension of Cyber Security.
Minimum of Associates Degree and/or 5-15 years of experience. Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.
Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
Has the ability to apply a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments.
Plans and leads technology assignments.
Evaluates performance results and recommends changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
Functions as a technical expert across assignments
