Position: E-Learning Multimedia/ Content Developer

Position Type: Full-time opportunity

Location: San Antonio, TX (100% remote)

Job Description

Coley GCS, LLC, a San Antonio, TX based company is looking to hire an eLearning multimedia/content developer to create video training courses, templates, and job aids. This is a hands-on position where you will be building and maintaining a growing library of training tools to aid in the growth and education of key business personnel entering the government market.  

As an eLearning multimedia/content producer you will work closely with subject matter experts to source, collect, and translate their knowledge into visually engaging and easily understood training tools and courses. An ideal candidate will be comfortable with the process of ideation, interviewing, writing, multimedia software, and effective storytelling. This is a 100% remote work position with regular in-person collaboration meetings. Candidates located in the San Antonio, TX area are preferred but not essential for the right candidate. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as the lead writer, content producer and developer from planning to creation.
  • Gather information through research and interviews to translate SME knowledge into effective and engaging video courses and training tools.
  • Edit and write content sourced through SMEs and research to create accessible and easy-to-understand training.
  • Design and modify graphics and animations for use in training materials.
  • Maintain and update a growing training library to ensure accessible, up-to-date content is available.
  • Utilize internal and external data to provide key insights into the effectiveness of the training and drive the direction of further development.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to perform needs-assessments and analysis to determine training needs based on customer requirements and priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Four or more years of experience developing courses.
  • An undergraduate degree in IT, Communications, Graphic Design, Education, or technical field is desired.
  • Experience designing and developing training materials and content to include creating instructor-led materials, online/e-learning modules, job aids, infographics, online tutorials, video products, and other training materials using multimedia and graphics software.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects while working cross-functionally with teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with online learning, learning technology, instructional, graphic, and/or web design or development skills.
  • Experience working remotely
  • Able to manage and prioritize your work to meet goals and schedules
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Proficient with MS Office 365 suite of tools
  • Experienced using video editing tools, such as Final Cut, Adobe Premier, AfterEffects, Camtasia, or similar
  • Working understanding of web and media design tools (Adobe Creative Cloud, HTML, CSS)
  • Excellent in spoken and written English
  • Link to portfolio and/or eLearning samples is required with your resume
  • An understanding of marketing and applying a consistent visual message is a plus.
