Job Description

Ground floor, amazing e-commerce opportunity - build all new e-commerce for a Billion+ dollar bricks and mortar B2B company that has zero online presence.

The best of a stable parent company with a skunkworks/innovation lab in Boston, operate just like an independent company fully paid commuter benefits, beer on tap, ping pong. VERY deep pockets. Multi-billion dollar business. Think about Toast, Wayfair, TripAdvisor, Chewy same volume of sales (billions), and no digital/e-commerce presence yet. Incredible opportunity to own the build-out of a brand new e-commerce/digital presence in a Lab/skunkworks environment, with freedom to pursue all new tech, and ideas.

Have to be able to be accountable and build something amazing, new from the ground up. Livesite code !

Multiple roles here:

Full stack Engineer 140k target, could get up to 160k

UX Engineer 105-140k

2 Product Managers 125k-150k

Here's the tech stack:

  • OOP/Languages: Java (JVM optimization), Python, Ruby
  • Web Services: SOAP, REST services, XML/XSL/XSD, GraphQL Server and Client
  • Web Development: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ReactJS, NodeJS
  • Middleware: Tomcat, Apache HTTP Server, Nginx, or other major application server(s)
  • Databases: MongoDB or MySQL
  • Development Tools: Apache Maven, GitHub
  • NoSQL/Caching: Cassandra, Redis, Memcached


  • 5+ years in enterprise scale systems engineering or support role
  • Experience managing environment of highly scalable, maintainable, high-availability web apps
  • Creative problem solving and troubleshooting skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with frequent production releases
  • Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or industry experience
