Our client is seeking an EDI-IT Business Consultant for a direct hire role at their corporate offices in the Seattle-Tacoma (SETAC) area. The ideal candidate will manage the day-to-day processing and troubleshooting of all electronic orders. This position will serve as the primary contact for all trading partners for resolving operational issues related to order management. Support the technical team and bring operational knowledge to the different supporting functions within Customer Operations, Logistics and Finance. Key Responsibilities Work closely with IT in problem identification, escalation and resolution Tier I Support - Ongoing production support and issue resolution EDI errors and troubleshooting identify issues, resolve M3 setup issues Understand basic customer requirements for EDI and Compliance Research and root cause issues Coordinating cross-functionally with CS/Logistics/Finance/IT Effective Communication Internally across teams and externally with vendors and customers Customer Service Internal and External customer service and support Process Documentation a^ maintain operational documentation and develop clear and up to date procedures for managing all aspects of electronic orders Produce quarterly chargeback report Lighthouse EDI first line support Maintenance of the customer EDI Vendor Guide Skills Required EDI a^ sound understanding of technology, messages and process General Order Processes Technical Skills and Software Ability to run simple SQL reports in support of QA processes Advanced MS Office (in particular Excel skills) Must absolutely be BOTH strategic and very hands on Well-organized and comfortable with financials Excellent, proven interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
