AILA’s online properties allow the association to (1) provide timely information to its members to help them win cases, (2) encourage networking and interaction between members, (3) allow for easy access to AILA products and conferences and (4) provide important data about our membership’s needs. The Online Services Department is responsible for the overall vision and implementation of the technology behind those platforms. The Department works to ensure that AILA’s existing properties provide member value as well as planning for the future needs and offerings that AILA can offer. The team provides the project management skills to work with staff and vendors to take new features from idea to implementation. Additionally, the staff manage the e-commerce platform to ensure AILA’s products and events are easily available for purchase. The Department also works to provide data about these efforts to staff so that online efforts can easily be analyzed.
The Ecommerce Specialist will be the primary person responsible for the setup of products and conferences for sale on Agora, AILA’s e-commerce site. Person will be responsible for managing coupons and other discounting items. Individual will work with departments to ensure that their materials go live in a timeline manner, receive accurate updates and present an accurate e-commerce site. Responsible for general back-end management such as inventory tracking and basic reporting.

The role will require creation of products and conferences in Ablecommerce e-commerce platform. Ensures products are updated, tracks inventory and works with various departments to ensure e-commerce site is up-to-date. Provides internal support to teams utilizing e-commerce system. Assists with data analytics or other reporting needs.
The role serves as primary back-up for AILA and IJC’s Wordpress sites. Handles basic site updates.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Four-year undergraduate degree or equivalent with minimum 2 years experience working in a technical position.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and experience with e-commerce platforms. Ablecommerce experience a plus.
KNOWLEDGE (acquired information necessary to do job, kind of knowledge required for the job).
Working knowledge of HTML coding and CSS
Working knowledge of E-commerce platforms.
Familiarity with Ablecommerce a plus
Familiarity with Google Analytics a plus.
