Scientific Applications & Research Associates (SARA), Inc. is a leading edge Research & Development company with a wide spectrum of technologies in commercial and military applications. SARA is currently looking for Electrical Engineers to join our team to design, build, and test unique prototype devices.
Qualified candidates should have, at a minimum, a BS degree in Electrical Engineering with 4 – 7 years of experience. More seasoned candidates with a MS degree or additional experience will be equally evaluated. U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance, with willingness to occasionally travel to brief customers or participate in development testing is also required. Other requirements include:
• Hands-on test and debugging experience with knowledge of standard test equipment (e.g. oscilloscope, logic analyzer, signal generator)
• Proficient laboratory skills (e.g. soldering, trouble shooting)
• Proficient writing skills as the job will require developing documentation
• Self motivation and the willingness to develop new skills
• The capability to work and think independently
Additional expertise in the following areas is also preferred:
• Analog circuit design and development (up to 1GHz bandwidth and beyond)
• Digital circuit design and development
• SPICE, Matlab, C/++/#, and/or LabView software tools
