Please note that this is a 2 months+ contract position.
•Report to the Engineering manager on a regular basis on the status of the Lab.
•Create LabView programs and required documentation to support test systems.
•Modify existing LabView data acquisition software.
•Perform RF-Power measurements, Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) and data analysis.
•Perform S-parameter measurements using VNA.
•Perform RF-Tx and Rx measurements such as Max power, ACLR, Rx sensitivity using call box.
•Installation of cable TV Headend equipment including RF distribution equipment
•Install, configure, and maintain test environment equipment.
•Ability to read wiring diagrams of varying complexity (cable and connector types: RG59, RG6, mini coax and twisted pair cables)
•Running Physical & Environmental QA tests on devices
•Required to install, wire, maintain & manage lab equipment (includes Devices Under Test and Test Equipment)
•Create and maintain detailed wiring diagrams lab systems.
Tools & Equipment:
•The candidate will be working with Electrical RF Test equipment such as: Call box, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power meters
•(Optional) The candidate will be working with Mechanical Test equipment such as: Temperature and humidity chamber, UV tester, shaker machine
•LabView programming skill
•Bachelor’s in electrical engineering with 1+ years of experience.
•Knowledge of RF/Microwave fundamentals.
•Experience with the following (and/or)
•RF lab equipment (Call box, Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Power meters etc.)
•Environmental test equipment (temperature and humidity chamber, UV tester, shaker machine)
•LabView programming skills.
•Experience controlling test equipment thru GPIB
