Our Fixed Income Electronic Trading Software business has doubled this past year. As the customer base grows we need individuals that can work with broker-dealers and institutional clients to help integrate their systems to ours via APIs.
These are client-facing technical roles. You must be articulate, have a strong client orientation and show a high sense of urgency towards client demands/needs.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience
Computer Science, Computer Information systems, or Bachelors in Finance,
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience with the FIX protocol.
TCP/IP & networking fundamentals.
Other API messaging protocols.
RDBMS skills (SQL Server and/or Oracle) ability to read, write and run SQL scripts.
Knowledge of Fixed Income.
Experience with OMS systems
Experience troubleshooting and testing in a Linux Environment
We also are looking for API/FiX production support analysts to provide technical support to external Dealer and Client users of the GUI application and API connections; track and resolve issues in the production and non-production trading environments; provide technical support for internal operations and sales groups; review and improve existing support processes, monitoring, and alerting. S/he will serve as the go to person on the team for FIX/API issues.
You'll need the ability to create / review system/support metrics to ensure excellence in service to our clients
Strong working knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating systems
Experience with FIX 4.2, 4.4, 5.0 SP2, API messaging, TCP/IP and Networking fundamentals
