Job Description

The Company

  • The company is a leader in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) patient care with vast experience in MRI innovation and is producing the world’s first and best selling non-magnetic MRI infusion pumps and patient monitors.
  • The company is the only known provider of non-magnetic intravenous (IV) infusion pump systems and non-magnetic patient vital signs monitors specifically designed for use during magnetic resonance imaging MRI procedures.
  • Seeking an interdisciplinary Embedded Software Engineer to join the engineering organization to continue development of the next generation of non-magnetic MRI IV infusion pumps, patient monitors systems and related technologies.

The Role

  • Design, implement, test, debug and provide ongoing support for system that meets technical and customer requirements.
  • Continuously accept and incorporate clinical end user feedback to further improve our products.
  • Generate software design description, architectural and requirement documentation.
  • Document designs with adequate comments, reports descriptions, issue tracking and resolution.
  • Conduct and participate in code and design reviews.
  • Passionately and respectively champion new ideas and features, big or small.
  • Develop reusable software and system components and integrate into existing and new designs.
  • Work closely with electrical and mechanical engineers in planning, design and development of systems to ensure software and hardware work seamlessly.
  • Support manufacturing operations during product rollout and issue resolution.


The Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related Engineering Degree
  • 2-5 years of related software development, software design, and/or electrical engineering background
  • Expert in embedded C or C++ developer and C# & Python Raspberry Pie scripting languages
  • Experience in Embedded 8 through 32-bit micro controller development
  • Experience with wired and wireless communication development
  • Git and Jira software development toolchain experience
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and sprint planning
  • Experience in automated build system deployment a plus
  • Driven problem-solver who can thrive in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
  • Strong interpersonal relationship-building and listening skills, calm/flexible demeanor and high level of emotional intelligence


The Compensation

  • $70K - $105,000/Year Commensurate Based on Experience and Annual 5-10% Performance-Based Bonus & Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
