At ManTech International Corporation, you'll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented End User Desktop Peripheral Support Engineer to join our team in the Hanover, MD area to provide unparalleled support to our customer and to begin an exciting and rewarding career within ManTech. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Provides End User Enterprise Management engineering expertise to analyze hardware systems, hardware design, architecture, network design and configuration Management. Procures and performs acceptance testing on equipment. Prepares specifications for hardware by analyzing documented and derived system requirements. Conducts site surveys. Prepares Configures (and documents configuration of) computers, networking devices, and various peripheral equipment. Prepares site installations and test reports to ensure customer receives consistent exceptional service. Ensures that problems have been properly identified and solutions will satisfy the user’s requirements.

Position Requirements:


Bachelor’s degree in technical related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.  Five (5) years of additional end engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.​


Seven + years of Network Engineering and System Administration experience ensuring client and end user experience meets requirements.


Expertise in Configuration Management Engineering Support for Enterprise Wide Customer hardware and software installation and maintenance of Servers/Systems and related equipment. 


Experience documenting end user requirements and leave behind material creation. 


Expertise providing strong written and verbal communication. 


Experience with customer ticketing systems such as Remedy or ServiceNow that problems have been properly identified, documented, resolved and solutions will satisfy the user’s requirements and established best practices have been warehoused for future reference. ServiceNow experience preferred.


Must meet 8570 Compliance requirements to include Security + CE if required.

Security Requirements:


Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with SSBI within 5 years to be considered and must obtain and maintain a polygraph.  Candidates with fully adjudicated polygraphs will be given first preference.
Requires Bachelor’s degree (in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics or Math) or equivalent, and seven to nine years of related (telecommunication analysis) experience.
